The Client brief for the leisure area was to include a spa bath, sauna, steam room and multi-purpose gym. Much thought was given to the layout, a restricted space both in plan and available height. Meticulous planning utilising every available corner has allowed this area to blossom into a light open space. Variable lighting that allows for a variety of mood settings, integrated sound and media equipment, rich materials of natural stone and timber now combine to provide a luxurious indulgent facility that would equally be appropriate if found in a top-end hotel. The facility provides an oasis of calm and rejuvenation within the privacy of the Client's personal dwelling instantly accessible on his visits to the house....more
